| The
easiest,most "open " and "friendly " print
unit in the market |
|
The
print cylinder is tightly held by our exclusive patent pending
Pitagora TM "3 pressure points"
configuration, and is specially locked from beneath, on a
"guide-less " geometry. This unique design allows
immediate changeovers despite the different sizes, and a totally
vibration free operation for the print cylinder at every speed,
and during the years.
Furthermore, when the Flower TM opens the anilox
roller becomes immediately available for change, fully
disengaged from the print unit. It can be taken with one hand,
or
with a simple tool (the Spider) if the operator wants to keep his
hand clean. The same happens to the rubber roller, which is fully
disengaged and available for change. Another Spider tool
prevents the operator from getting his hand dirty with ink. The
doctor blade assembly includes the side wipers and it is
immediately disengaged, for a quick doctor blade change. The ink
tray follows the Flower TM movement, and it can
be changed in any position of the Flower TM .

| Less
adjustments, less stress for operators without experience. |
|
When
changing the anilox roller or the diameter of the print
cylinder, no printing pressure or anilox pressure adjustment is
requested, due to the special Pitagora TM
locking mechanism, which locks the print cylinder from beneath.
Changing jobs becomes just a matter of putting the print
cylinder in, whichever diameter, and printing at maximum speed. A
very simple adjustment is made only when the thickness of the
substrate changes.
The same Pitagora TM concept eliminates any
pressure adjustment when the printing speed changes. Due to the
revolutionary geometry of the Flower TM head,
all the guides are eliminated and the mechanical vibrations
or wear have no influence on the print quality, as all the
tolerances are recuperated, especially at very high speeds. The
doctor-blade assembly too has been specially designed to avoid
any adjustment by the operator. A unique doctoring configuration
allows ink-spitting free operations in every working condition.
No mechanical or pneumatic adjustment is required. Just,
"closing " the Flower TM ,the Doctor Blade
assembly fits into the correct position, and no adjustment is
needed by the operator. Also the rubber roller does not need any
adjustment, and fits into the correct pressure adjustment, at any
speed, without any screw adjustment by the operator.

concepts,and high quality standards |

The
length register adjustment acts on the print cylinder, and not on
the impression roller. No stress is given to the tension of the
web, and all the register corrections are immediate, without any
influence on the previous and following colors, and a minimal
paper waste. Only high precision hardened certified ISO Din Class
5/6 helical gears are used on the Flower TM
print station, to ensure the maximum print quality, guaranteed in
the years. The print unit is entirely made with steel frames, on a
steel platform, to maintain the same quality performances during
the years.
