 Stability

The CombatTM press keeps the same performances at any speed, and in any working condition. Independency in the tension control (PGMP) and independent drives for printing and die-cutting (Double-Drive) keep the mechanical disturbances away from the key areas of the process. The Combat stability is confirmed at high speeds, up to 150 MPM : print quality and register stay as consistent as if the press is running at half of the speed.

Consistent print quality during the years

The special geometry of the FlowerTM head makes that the mechanical wear does not
influence the printing quality, the print cylinder is held without guides and all the tolerances
are recuperated. The influence of mechanical wear in the gearboxes during the years is also eliminated by the use of high precision belts in the print section. The durable double frames entirely made of steel in all the press contribute to keep the performances of the CombatTM press identical during the years.

 Ease of operation
No stress for the operator No stress for the owner of the company

>

The operator does not touch the ink in change-over

>

Heavy or dangerous weights handling is mechanically assisted

>

The working environment is organized

>

The number of adjustments is greatly reduced

>

The difference in performance between a skilled and an inexperienced operator is greatly reduced

>

It is possible to work with operators with limited experience in flexography

>

The operator is not stressed by change-overs (repeatable change-overs many times per day)

The FlowerTM
(pat.pend.)concept
Gearless drive
in the back
Double-drive

The easiest and most accessible print unit in the market: the   group opens like a Flower, each element separates and becomes independent and immediately accessible.

The same high precision belts used in the car industry are used to drive the print units: the drive is more accurate, and the wear of the gearboxes is eliminated.

The drives for the die-cutting and for the printing are two and fully separated. Vibrations are not transmitted to the print section, even at high speeds.

The PitagoraTM
(pat.pend.)concept:
Helical gears
in the front

OrganizerTM

"3 pressure point " configuration, without guides. All the tolerances are recuperated, for the best print stability at high speeds, and during the years. Only DIN Class 5/6 helical gears are used in the front drive for the smoothest transmission to the anilox roller and to the print cylinder. Athree axis lifting mechanism
on a crossed rail system is integrated in the converting area. The operator never touches the dies, and can organize them in a specially built-in storage area after use.

CombatTM
(Combination
Advanced Technology)
PGMP Mini-OrganizerTM
The platform configuration of
the CombatTM press is "open " to changes. By adding new process heads, combination printing and "creative " configurations are possible.

The Perfect Grip Multi Point (PGMP) makes tension on unwind, printing, die-cutting and rewind independently controlled for better tension stability at high speeds. Print and magnetic cylinders are stored in the OrganizerTM anilox, rubber rollers, doctor blades, ink trays, Spider tools,
are integrated in a movable rack storage device.

Spider tools Jumbo WashTM Grid TM
(pat.pend.)
With the Spider tools the operator does not touch the ink
and holds a safe grip while handling with one hand anilox rollers, rubber rollers and ink-trays.
Cylinders, ink trays, doctor blades, cans etc. contaminated by ink are automatically washed and rinsed. While the press runs in 10-15 minutes four print stations are entirely washed and ready for printing.

The die-cutting pressure tool is locked in a GridTM cut into the steel frames of the press.
Deflections are greatly reduced to achieve perfect die-cutting stability at high speeds.
